December is here !!

I love that it is this time of year again. One of the traditions I love the most is working on my December daily. I feel like this album is the whip cream of my holiday season. You know everyone loves the hot chocolate but the whip cream is always all mine. This year I am embracing two things my hand writing and getting my story down for each day. 

 December 1

December 1st was my husbands holiday party. I Love getting dressed up and a good date night is always a great thing around here. Since the picture of the two of us was so nice I decided to start with it. Jack got his first Christmas treat from pre-school earlier in the day he was so excited. I wrote about the rest of our day . Jack and I took my oldest out to lunch I wrote a message to her on the back of my half page.

Dec 2

I kept the 2nd easy. I went for a 10 mile run while Jack was in  pre-school and then we met my husband for Lunch at the 101 diner. I wrote a page about how much I love our family.I also got a great picture of my husband kissing my youngest.

Things I am loving is that my album is to get bigger. I also think that embracing the just taking it easy and getting down attitude makes it nicer specially when there is so much to do.

December Dailey Day 6, 7 and 8

So here is how I recorded my story . Every little red tab you see has a my journaling behind it. You can either pull it out or flip it and there those are my feeling for that day.

December Daily Day 1,2 and 3

Just like you I am also so excited about this years December Dailey and yes my girl crush is totally Ali. She is so awesome in the way she inspires us to keep taking pictures and getting our stories down. Here we go. I ordered Ali's Kit this year and some extra stuff I had laying around from last years kit.

I wanted to keep it simple and easy because I tend to take a lot of pictures.

I saw this paper at paper tales and just loved it. So I got a couple sheets and I really liked how it looks under the transparency . 

Day 1 I spent most of the day at the park with Jack. I try and go on a two mile walk with him everyday. I love how through his eyes everything is new.

Day two my dad and I took Jack to the Train/tractor museum. I would usually never go to the tractor museum but since Jack came along I have really grown to love trains and tractors. The time spent with my dad is priceless .

I am going to write down 7 reasons why I love our weekly outings with my dad. I really like how this is coming along. 

Happy October

Happy October Peeps. Hi!! How exciting we all made it to October. I have big plans for this month. I made a little Pictober prompt for myself . There is so much going on when its close to the end of the year and I really want to make my Project Life come together so I need to help myself with some prompts . I also have done some other prompts and my journals for my blog and my own project Life does so much better. I will hash tag my pictures #pictober if you want to do the same ..that would be cool.. My Instagram name is creatingfreespirit if you want to fallow me. 

My number 1 is Me. That sounds funny. I mean my number 1 prompt is ME. Me is my family today. I really want to start every month with a picture of who ever is in the house. I have my 2 of my kids about 80 percent of the time. My oldest lives in her own apartment. Jack is with me all the time. So I want to do a family picture the first of every month that will be who ever is here that day. This month Poala my oldest had surgery. Her boy friend was here and that was who is in our first Family picture.  This feels like a great Idea. I am thinking we can take some fancy family pictures but for today this was my family and that is me. 

Some September Favorites

One thing I love is keeping up with my  Project Life. I love looking back and I love Becky Higgins . I am so happy that these amazing woman like Ali Edwards Becky have made it there lives passion to help us tell our story. I don't get crazy with my embellishments because life seems to go faster than what I can print and decorate. 

Layouts like this make me smile. Its simple my life. My teenagers and I went shopping and it was a day at the mall with my kids. I love my smile in the first picture. 

I am using my Studio calico kit for September . You can catch up its just a matter of a couple hours a week and simple is key. 

Rainbows and Hearts

I love things that have a story. She has a story. I painted her when I was feeling lost. I have always had a hard time trying to figure what to do first. You know those times when so many things are pulling at you. A huge part of you knows you are so lucky you are to have things going on but another part does not know which way to go. I needed something to ground me. I sat down to paint and she came out. She loves color and she holds on to those colors that make her happy and lets go of the rest. When things pull at me I am doing just what this girl does. I am letting go with out fear of things that do not call to me and holding on to those that do. I am putting my hands up high and letting the bright colors just be with me. Just thought I would share because this makes me happy.
